Johnson reflects on the train wreck that was Collins

I think most of his assessments were fair, and I respect that he mostly stayed quiet over the past four years.

The most interesting part to me was him saying that TStan wanted him to stay another year. For years I've heard some people claim that he was basically fired/pushed out. Hopefully we can at least put to bed the notion that Tech wronged him in some way.

The Hill and TStan wronged CPJ and the fans by refusing to support the program.

I blame the Hill more than TStan. And I blame MBob more than anybody or anything.
Ran into TStan one night during CPJ's era and TStan bemoaned the state of the players' lounge, which he called a "ööööing disgrace" or WTTE. It was clear though he didn't say it that TStan was blaming MBob for the lack of support. I think TStan was trying to get some more support for PJ - to wit, the new locker room, finished just in time for the 2018 season.

I know people will get on me for this, but what game is that from.

Sure. Outside his first two years (where he had Gailey’s recruits) he had 2 good years and sustained 7 years of mediocrity. Surely that’s the best Tech football program since the 50s.
Lol.

Did CCG also recruit the 2012,2014, and 2016 classes? How many wins do you think chan would have gotten in 2008 and 2009.

How well would chan have recruited with less resources than Duke?

Please just think before you post next time. (Speaking from experience from just last night).

Butthurt option fanboy bs setting low standards for himself.

The fact that his comment doesn’t bother you, when he says you were nothing before I came here, and you stick up for him instead, shows what a bunch of cuckolds you lot are. That explains a lot of our fanbase where when someone tells y’all you ain’t öööö, you agree with them instead and defend their opinion over the opinion of one of your own who says wait a minute, this guy is full of öööö. ööööing imbeciles.

Are you taking about CPJ or Clown Boy?

That is not my recollection. My recollection is when Key got here, he said "I didn't come all this way to play small ball." I did not interpret that as a slight to CPJ in the least but rather he was addressing the idea that GT was a step down from Alabama and that he would settle for less at GT.

You may be right. I just remembered some people being butthurt about that tweet at the time.

Both. That whole article is CPJ ego masturbation. Oh it bothered me that he talked öööö about my offense. I was the best since Bobby Dodd…

I know from 1st hand account that he said before “They were nothing before me, I’d like to see them try after me.” That is my biggest problem with CPJ. He thinks Tech was nothing before him. And bunch of our fans agree with him because they’re more CPJ fans than Tech fans.
