Key just failed his interview

Saban learned his lesson the last time he cut loose a coordinator prior to the end of the season. Back when Lane took the HC job at Florida Atlantic, Saban let him go a week before the NC game which Bama would go on to lose against Clemson. Even if Saban thought BOB was doing a bad job, he's going to wait until the season to make a change unless BOB leaves first.
Maybe that's it. Maybe not. All I know is Saban kept him for a second season as OC, so that cuts against what you are assuming.

What BOB is doing may work fine for Saban and his 5* but maybe not so much for what we have. That could be why the majority of the academy of saban graduates don't do so well when they go elsewhere

I haven't seen a truer statement on ST in quite a while.

Also re: BO'B and all the negativity...you think Saban would keep him for a minute longer if he was really the problem that fans say he is? Nope. I'm not saying he's necessarily the best choice (we can't even determine who all are legitimate options), but he's a solid one.

Bama's issue this year is not offense. Hell, they are second only to UT (and not by much).

They aren't doing what Saban does, but no one else really does. Most of them seem to have done pretty well...

Why is this thread still going, did Key ask for a redo? Or try to tamper with his transcript?
