Khalil Tate tweeted he didnt want the TO so Niumatalolo wouldnt be hired

College football, if it survives, will be unrecognizable in ten to 12 years. Player compensation and CTE are big problems, without obvious solutions.
Just stop tackling so violently. The Seattle Seahawks produced an instructional video of how to do safe tackling, called the hawk tackle yet I still see too many kill shots to the head. I dont know why these players keep doing this.

If college football goes the way of the dodo we might as well say goodbye to collegiate athletics all-together since football funds non-revenue sports. I don't think it's going anywhere though we will likely continue to see rules changes.

You believe if football ceases to exist that all of us here will stop watching sports altogether?

We'll find some other sport to be fanatic about just like every human male since the dawn of time

If college football were to disappear I don't think it would magically be replaced by some other collegiate sport. We have a plethora of sports entertainment options to choose from and I can't see another collegiate sport taking the role football plays now. Basketball would become the only revenue generating sport and we would lose the majority of collegiate athletics unless it was all funded by the university instead of athletic boosters.

Wait, so there are players out there that don't want to play in the TO? Which would mean that our scheme does, in fact, impact recruiting?

Wow - you don't say!

Chan Gailey's record with a system that ALL recruits want to play for:
2002: 7-6 - lost to Dwags in most humiliating defeat in the history of GT Football
2003: 7-6 - lost to Dwags, lost to Duke (allowing Duke to break longest conference losing streak in ACC history)
2004: 7-5 - lost to Dwags
2005: 7-5- lost to Dwags
2006: 9-5- lost to Dwags, lost to Wake in ACCCG, lost to West Virginia in bowl
2007: 7-5- lost to Dwags, lost to Fresno St (yes, you read that correctly - lost to Fresno St.)

Paul Johnson's record with a system that isn't for everybody
Beat the Dwags three times, won 9 or more games four times, won the Orange Bowl.

So take your system that everybody wants to play for and put it where your mom likes it.

You realize we aren't limted to Gailey and Paul Johnson as our coach right?

In fairness, Tenuta coached the 2007 Fresno St. loss, but Gailey did lose to them in 2002 Silicon Valley bowl. That sums up that era pretty well, doesn't it? We kinda finished right where we started.

And now we are back to that level once more. Yes, some high spots, but also some low spots. And at least we were in bowl games even tho we lost them.

LMAO - Epic Fail. Gailey's system outrecruited CPJ's annually. That Gailey sucked as a coach isn't debatable. That he and his system were far better at recruiting that CPJ and his beloved TO isn't debatable either.

The only time CPJ has had consecutive good seasons in the past 10 years were with players recruited for Gailey's system. (Though even in his best year with those recruits, his system couldn't beat a shitty mutt team at home)

So take that and shove it up yer mom's ass!!!

I’d rather have a coach that could win against UGA and win an ACC championship TBH.
