Collins is upgrading the talent and the S&C coach is solid.

We need an offensive philosophy other than ‘balance’. Be unbalanced if it is working. This staff should have enough contacts that they can find an up and coming OC. Hell, raid WF staff for an OC.

Defensively, I don’t know. Sometimes we look good and sometimes awful. We definitely need a counter to up tempo. We got lucky in the last game because Rocky was trying to get a quick snap when literally our entire DL was looking to the sideline. Had he gotten the snap, they would have gotten a big gain and potentially knocked all 4 of out linemen out for a play or two. Way to slow getting the defensive calls in.

And Collins needs to improve on game management obviously. He isn’t even up to major high school level at this point.

At least in BB you could see some coaching going on. I haven’t witnessed any coaching in CG’s tenure.

He’s literally only still employed for 3 weeks of decent basketball at the end of 5 years. That’s it.

This all day. Not to take the focus off our horrible football coach. But our horrible basketball coach still sucks. Don't let the shiny ACC championship that occurred during the biggest pandemic in 100 years, during the worst year of ACC basketball in history fool you into thinking Pastner suddenly became Dean Smith. He sucked at Memphis and continued to suck year after year here until this miraculous February/March. I haven't looked, please tell me we didn't give him a raise and extension.
