……and there’s probably a lot of MSU looking to use this gift of a scandal as a means of getting out from under a terrible contract for a bad coach.
 
I think MSU went Title IX because a conviction there is a lot easier to hold up for contract termination. If this were as clean as described I have to believe they would have gone the Ole Miss route with regards to Hugh Freeze. This gets rid of Tucker for his behavior and stops the potential liability for the university in an Emma Sulkowicz situation.

Ignoring the flirtatious things Tucker claims she said and focusing on the undisputed stuff... She had 27 late-night conversations with a guy over months who says he's unhappy with his marriage and she's shocked he makes a sexual advance? I don't know, seems naive at best. Is there nothing a woman can do anymore to give a guy the wrong idea?

At the same time I get the power dynamics where someone like Tracy could enjoy that this famous, important guy is talking to and confiding in her. Maybe she was enjoying the attention so much that she was oblivious to his romantic interest.

In my opinion it's not like Tucker was going around slapping secretaries' butts. I think MSU should warn him and move on. But they'll probably fire him because universities, especially MSU, are sensitive about even the possibility of sexual impropriety.
