ND boards.....

I'm nervous about this game because I'm not that nervous about this game. I felt the same way going into the ACCCG last year, and look how that turned out.

Fsu had to play their best game of the season to beat us by two points.

The only time I have ever been booted from a board was the week BEFORE we beat Notre Dame 33-3. I really didn't even troll. I just told them that we had a stout defense, athletic QB, good FBs and RB's and fully expected Tech to win the game going away and get some payback for the game at GT.

They probably banned you for calling Bennett athletic.

At least they give CPJ props. I'm honestly not that nervous about this game. CPJ gave ND fits at Navy. Now he has much better athletes to go with a grudge against BVG.

Of course they do. After we beat their asses up and down the field all day they are going to go after a GT coach for the 2nd or 3rd time.

When it comes down to it though, he have a better offense we neutralize any advantages they might have had defensively with the option.
Didn't you read their boards? They have the blueprint for stopping the option.

Too many of us posting over there. It's more fun to watch them kill eachother. They don't need any help.

This is the same team that just beat the 5-week consensus #1 in a New Years 6 bowl game and finished the year Top 10 in every poll.

Huh? Don't you mean "this is the same team that rolled Nebraska in the Citrus Bowl"? Kinda like Theseus' ship, right?

We are obviously not the same team as last year, and neither is ND or anyone else.

you're right. We're better than last year.

They have a thread where some dude dug up Turner Gill's defense against the option because of 2010.

:bowrofl::bowrofl::

Please oh god let them follow that. The NCAA record 12.1 ypc we put up in '11 has stood for too long.

It would not surprise me at all if Paul Johnson has secretly set his goal for this game as beating that 2011 mark.

ND plays Navy every year and Navy gives them fit. Now they have to prepare for an option team with better athletes. That is tough for any DC but for Van Gorder, even tougher. My only worry for this game is that ND has the ability to score with the long pass. We have to be ready for that. GO JACKETS!!!!

1. Their biggest advantage now is the size and strength of their OL against our D that is looking to prove itself. We showed glimpses of a pash rush this week against an OL that was 300-lbs across the board, which made for good practice. No advantage to either team

2. Their biggest risk is coming to the game with a blueprint instead of teaching fundamentals. Since they face Navy regularly, I doubt this will be the case. No advantage.

3. Our biggest advantage is Justin Thomas. No changes or disruptions there. Advantage GT.

4. Our biggest risk is inexperience of the A and B backs causing bad timing of handoffs and pitches, resulting in fumbles. We saw one last week. Gladly, the first such occurrence happened in a game that was in hand and the coaches can harp on it this week, hopefully preventing another one in the near future. No advantage.

The way I see it, and giving them home field advantange, I say GT wins by a field goal or a touchdown.
