Yep. According to him, GT should just surrender football, probably hire CPJ back, and be satisfied with the trajectory we were on - never beating Clemson again. Why even attempt to upgrade recruiting? We've never been able to recruit at a high level so we just need to stay in our lane and take our beating from Duke.

Damn, our fanbase is just such a bunch of whiny ass losers. "But JJacket, we CAN'T recruit on Clemson's level...."

Serious question, if we had hired CGC and the current staff in 2008, do you think we would have won the ACC Championship in 2009?

Same question asked differently, do you think the current staff could have won more games with Chan's roster than Chan did?

Yes. I do. In fact, I believe 2008 and 2009 could have been two of our best teams ever. Loaded defense. Dwyer at RB. Thomas at WR.

Not a chance. I have not seen ANY evidence of actual good coaching by CGC yet. Can't point to ONE good coaching move. And neither can either of those guys who posted "Yes."

I'm not sure we would have gotten to the Championship; but I do think Thacker would have been an improvement over Tenuta. I'm curious how Nesbitt would have looked in this style offense because that would have been a more key piece than Dwyer on offense, particularly behind the shambles of an offensive line that Chan left.

Ok, he called an onside kick and we recovered it. I’d say that’s one. He also had Gibbs return the opening kickoff in game #2 and he took it 70 yards. That’s 2. You don’t have to be so emotional.
