We could even retain Thacker to relay the calls so that the new DC has a familiar human face.

It’s absolutely a coaching problem. We beat WF and our team started liking the smells of their own farts. And the coaching staff was too stupid to disabuse them of the idea that they are good enough to take a game off.
 
The main issue today on O was lack of concentration. They just did stupid stuff that indicated their heads weren’t in it.
The main recurring issue on D is system, IMPO. It is not talent on either part. We aren’t highly talented, but we have plenty of talent to beat BGSU.

Lol all you want. GA Tech’s heads weren’t in the game after the second possession. They were not in position and not tackling. Those are effort issues. The errant punt snap, the screw up on the 4th down, the grounding penalty, the pic-6, the entire D. Just no focus at all. They thought they could win it without the effort. That’s what happens.

And a single coach is responsible for the candy-assed play of the entire team. If we fire that one coach it’ll all he rainbows and unicorns forever!

I never said a single coach. It’s the whole staff. However, the D overall, in 4 of 5 games this year, are just performing like crap. That’s a DC. There’s more than one issue here.
