only one man can save us…
only one man can save us…
I'm not sure that I have ever seen a demotion work anywhere. Why keep Thacker around at all? Seems like a everyone get along moment. I see it as a possible problem.
They couldn’t fire him a day after the worry doll story.I'm not sure that I have ever seen a demotion work anywhere. Why keep Thacker around at all? Seems like a everyone get along moment. I see it as a possible problem.
Maybe it ain’t the coaches.Yet we absolutely have the worst tackling players in all of college football, year in & year out. PJ, clown, Key - coach names change, öööö-tackling doesn't.
BINGO.Yet we absolutely have the worst tackling players in all of college football, year in & year out. PJ, clown, Key - coach names change, öööö-tackling doesn't.
So you're saying it's been the players since 2010'ish?Maybe it ain’t the coaches.
Could even have him wear one of those brilliant throwback BLACK WATCH uniforms. Uniforms are the answer. Straight fire. Look good feel good. Feel good play good. It’s science. Trust the science.only one man can save us… legendary GT player Ted Roof
Just asking. You yourself said we gone through a few HCs and many more DCs with the same result. So you're saying it's been the players since 2010'ish?
That our tough recruiting specs mean no one who can tackle ever signs?
I call Bullshit
Groh wasn’t gonna take a demotion.I like what this move signals from Key--that losing like this is no longer acceptable.
Collins only made some marginal staffing changes in his 3+ years of poor performance here. (I can't remember for sure if he ever really fired anyone but I think he did after a season let some assistants go.)
Maybe it's the right thing to do to keep Thacker on for player morale and as a courtesy. I don't know.
Johnson fired Groh after the MTSU loss, similar situation. Groh was bitter over it, thought that Johnson could've waited until the end of the season.
The Black Watch was dressing for our funeral. Makes sense.Could even have him wear one of those brilliant throwback BLACK WATCH uniforms. Uniforms are the answer. Straight fire. Look good feel good. Feel good play good. It’s science. Trust the science.
1 yr as South Ala DC and 1 yr as Tenn co-DC where he was pushed out of that job for the following season.
It’s not bad, looks like he’s got some good experience. This move may have been in Key’s back pocket in case Thack crashed and burned.1 yr as South Ala DC and 1 yr as Tenn co-DC where he was pushed out of that job for the following season.
I guess he da one who's most available and in line. I hope there's some immediate improvement for CBK sake.
I dunno what to think of his resume

Our guys aren’t playing the game angry. They’re not killers. The closest I’ve seen them to being killers is the Wake Forest game and they collected 150 yards of penalties but they got the job done. That’s both sides of the line btw. Afraid to tackle, afraid to fight for extra yards, just flat out timid all around. So you're saying it's been the players since 2010'ish?
it's ok like u said but thack been crashing and burning for 5 yrs and we still employ him? It’s not bad, looks like he’s got some good experience. This move may have been in Key’s back pocket in case Thack crashed and burned.
Ya. Now Thacker gets to pout and act all twitchy when he’s getting told what to do by his replacement. Great for morale.I'm not sure that I have ever seen a demotion work anywhere. Why keep Thacker around at all? Seems like a everyone get along moment. I see it as a possible problem.
This won’t solve anything
