The new Tech Gold is very milky. I got as close of a match to it as I could have for cornhole boards and they look sun bleached with a hint of green.

It’s worse when the color is on a light background (like a natural wood floor or the unpainted sections of a cornhole board). By itself or as the main color it looks ok.

That is awesome, and the gold color looks right to me. On another note, am I the only one that thinks the gold GT on the white helmets did not look quite the right color last year? It and the stinger stripe seemed too light and almost a tan color to me. I think it needs the flake in it like the gold paint on the helmet.

Gotta stick with black and natural on boards man. Color rarely ends up looking good imo. I did these a few years back. Actually just bought a new set to paint up myself.

If I ever do them again, I think I am going to get a burning tool and do that.

Unfortunately if we where to match the center stripe (If we used my design) to Tech gold we have on the logo, it just wouldn't work unless it was directly touching the navy stripes for contrast.
I love the way Tech Gold looks when it has a dark border/on the blue jerseys, but if it's right beside white, it blends in too much under poor lighting.

That is a miracle because I've been keying every dwag car I've seen on Tech campus since 2002.
