Unless we go 1-11, and that is a legit possibility the way things looked Saturday, but unless we go 1-11, I think collins will hang around for atleast 1 more year or 2, although a coordinator or 2 down. I’m just not as convinced as the rest of y’all that some big donor is going to throw money at GT to change head coach without assurances and without it being absolutely clear there’s no shot of things improving otherwise, ie near winless this year and expecting the same next. But I admit I have only been following since 2004, so maybe there’s more big money donors than I’m aware of.

I have really grown tired of these comparisons to Dabo and Saban. Neither of those guys ever put up historic losses for their programs, we are already on year 3 of historic losses by Geoff. First ever loss to a MAC school, great job Geoff, maybe he'll top it by losing the 404 this weekend.

Dabo took over mid season and the team immediately started playing better. He finished that partial year beating USC. There is no comparison between Dabo and Collins.

Hey Super!! I really don't think Collins is going anywhere for the foreseeable future. Someone else posted that this season will decide the future of his assistants though. Either Thack or Pnode will be gone. I think it would be better to send Dave packing. Then Geoff could be much more hands on with the D.

I don't disagree; but for $14M (or whatever the buyout is) it might we worth a try get him some new coordinators as a last chance attempt. I doubt it would work because I think the tone set at practice and on the sideline are big parts of the problem.

He also changed coordinators several times before getting his current staff. And spent a load of money to get them.

b) Temple 2-24
c) VPI 0-45
d) UGA 52-7
e) Clemson 73-7
f) NIU 21-22

Chan Gailey and Paul Johnson combined can't touch this either.
