I'd reach for someone like Charlie Cobb or Jim Cole. Both have done well. Northwestern took Derrick Gragg last year, believe he was pretty high on the non-GT list. GT lost out not moving on him and could have purged the cancer from our ranks, but those with the power and money decided on one more year. I'm hoping they have not gotten cold feet and have pulled back funding regardless of how the gruesome twosome do this year. That newspaper article backpedalling about 4 wins being ok sure sounded like it.

Because we have never gotten anything good out of a Tech man. We need an outsider who is not captive to Tech's version of the "swamp" but thinks and acts independently and intelligently. True, we have also had some non-Tech-men losers, but I think non-Tech-men Homer Rice and DRad were the best we have had.
