Where did you go to High School?

Likely you had Keller for Chemistry/Physics.

I’m his step-son.
No way!!!! I loved David Keller. Between he and Mrs Chamblin, probably my two favorite teachers. I happened to have the highest SAT at PHS so in the county they had a luncheon for every student, one representing each school, and we could pick our favorite teacher to accompany us, well I picked Mr. Keller. If I remember he had a silver RX-7. The nerd in me would always finish my test first so he would use my test as the answer key to grade other students tests. I remember when he remarried to his high school sweetheart. Those of us who had a math/science bent were his favorites. He used to give us permission to leave and go up to the gas station and get him chicken sandwiches for lunch. Those were really good times. He was a great teacher, and one of the reasons I survived my two chemistry classes at Georgia Tech as well as Physics. If possible, please wish him well for me!

You and I walked a similar path. I was a star student as well.

He and mom are still married. They retired to the Boise, ID area. I’m headed over there next week and pass along your kind words.

He still stays pretty active, though he eventually got rid of the RX-7 (Wankel engine); one of his nephews took it off his hands.

Oh, and those chicken sandwiches from the Palmetto liquor store were way better than CFA!

I called the athletic office the other day. They said that tickets would be emailed tomorrow from Ticketmaster

Thanks so much. I'm really happy to hear he is doing well and I appreciate you extend my regards to him.
