Official Clown Destroyed Postgame Thread

I couldn't watch the game live so recorded it and just finished watching it.

1) A W is a W
2) 5-2 is great
3) Tech could/should have easily lost this game
4) I hope King is OK.
Could have lost for sure. Can't agree that we should have, though. If not for King leaving the game, we probably put the game away after the McCollum fumble. We were up 10 and in UNC territory, and their defense had no answers for our staple stuff.

I don’t know that that is true. He is 1-3 from 40-49, and 0-2 from 50+. He’s not missing by much, in fact his stats are pretty similar to Butker his junior year. I think he’s been asked to take some questionable kicks. I don’t think it’s a major concern, just not a major weapon.
If he makes that kick up in Syracuse we go to OT. He isn’t missing by much but it’s a game of inches or a few feet unfortunately.

Can Geoff be so bad he gets two ADs fired in three years?

“Inside Carolina”? Sounds like a porno.

He ran off because those players in that locker room are hurting. They played at a high level today with juice and if UNC fans can't see the improvement, that's on them.
the highlight of the game for me was seeing Geoff high five his defense after they crapped the bed and let Jamal Haynes break loose on them for 68 yards to win the game

We met her today. Her and nCPJ were chatting and bunch of Tech people were coming to say they’re their fans and I said it’s like we’re at the Georgia Tech Oscars or something.
She sounds horrible

How does it get more delicious than letting them feel a little good coming back to tie it, planning for OT, and then ripping their hearts out by running over the clown for the win?

Atonement achieved! The D came up big at times with some stops and some fumbles, and the O backed em up. We are a team!

Ultimately we know our QB was not himself and the injury that took him out in the 4th seems to have occurred in the 1st. It's hard to say how the game might've gone had he not gotten hurt and if he'd have still missed so many wide open throws.

But we ran for 371 and won despite having a fumble recovery taken away on the 1 yard line by garbage refs. So I think the only thing you can say we definitely learned in this game is that UNC's defense really stinks.

And that the announcers never, ever, once connected that failure to the man in charge. After they spent half the game regurgitating his tired excuses about why he failed at Tech and even suggesting he only needed a few weeks to turn it around after 3.5 years of abject failure. I 100% believe he sucked up to them for positive coverage.

He ran off the field immediately and I can't find that he did a postgame interview. But he has to do a midweek presser before the next game, so be looking for that.
