Official Game Day Thread - Da I vs. Da U

It's kind of our only hope right now to make this season look less like garbage.

This is still a good football team with one of the better defenses we've had under Johnson (whatever that means). It's a shame that the coastal has now become an uphill climb. I had no doubt we'd win today. This was a disheartening loss but I still love my Jackets and can't wait to watchem play next weekend. But this one will hurt as a fan for a while. Don't give a öööö about being ranked 15 or 25. I'd rather be unranked and playing in Charlotte in December than ranked 15 and watching Miami play NC St or Clemson in the ACCCG.

CAnt wait for your cute video tho, go Jackets right?

Not that it's any consolation, but öööö at least we have something to be angry about. Things could/have been much worse.

öööö Miami

This Miami team is gonna finish the season top 10. We played a very technically correct game today, and it kept us in it when we were obviously overmatched on offense. Diaz dialed up a great second half game plan. Johnson went deep into the play sheet to scrap together what he could. Outside of the last drive, our defense played very well today. Their red zone performance was great. I still think we finish this season with 8 wins (9 if you count UCF)

You don't win 8-9 games when you can't close games where you are winning 80%+ of the game.

Got beat by, come Monday, #7-8, by 1 point in their house. Giving out big cry(s) to butt hurt emo's.

Two losses like this in the first half of the season hurt. We should be 5-0 and rolling instead of hoping we have a winning season and bowl bid. Defense gives up 10 of 25 points in last seconds of both halves. I hate that we have thrown away two games now. We have to step and make plays at winning time. Instead, I think coaches and players tighten up. And blowing tight games becomes contagious. You lose confidence and tighten up down the stretch.

I hate that at the end of the half we are so predictable that all you have to do is throw under coverage for big yardage. But, we win this if we catch a 3rd down ball or knock away a 4th down pass.

One more thing and I'll hush for the night. Unless Howard is hurt, I am frustrated that he has been ignored since his fumble. We've already seen a good back like Marshall leave because he could not please CPJ in spite of great on the field rushing success. Let's not repeat this with Howard.

Consolation is the focus on special teams play over the break looks like it paid off considering they got us half our points. Two in the first half and 10 in the second half. Good job, guys :ughthumb:

Lost power for about two hours. Decided to go get something eat and listen to the game on the radio. Turned it on just in time to hear Badgley kick game winner.
öööö. öööö. Double öööö.
Had chances on offense and defense to win it.

Had two chances in the first half to put this game away. Game is on CPJ he öööö the bed with playcalling
