(I)CBK needs to chew some ass at halftime. And also forcefully tell the players to play better.

That may be true, but a lot of this is stuff that can be easily corrected in an offseason by a good coach. I think it's really tough to fix during the season though, because time is so limited and the number one priority is probably gameplanning as opposed to working on really basic fundamentals.

I also think that benching as a punishment is dumb. It's not like he doesn't know he screwed up.

You bench if a player keeps doing something bad because he won't correct it and you can't afford to have him keep doing it. You don't bench your best receiver because he makes one boneheaded ST play.
 
Wow, what a play by Pyron. He's making a lot of freshman mistakes today but on that play he looked like a vet -- great pocket awareness, kept his eyes downfield, got the first down with his legs, and slid with plenty of time.

Also nice to see an uncalled hold in favor of us.
