People aren't going to like to hear this, but t a loss to Miami with our third string QB after the second stringer got hurt leading what was shaping up to be a game-tying touchdown drive is not going to remove Key from contention.

If Batt didn't want Key, then sure, this allows him to end it. But if Batt was thinking Key was the right guy before this game, this isn't going to change anything.

The failure here is not that we are playing an awful QB instead of punting on first down. It's that we don't have a serviceable option as our third QB. But if we're being realistic, I'm guessing a lot of teams don't.

I don’t think you understand. That pussy level öööö of running OOB on 4th down to end a game without ever trying to make a play and then going into a presser and saying basically “öööö it, I decided to take the loss” should have been the end. He should not be dressing out for games. He should not be playing QB, I don’t care how many guys we are down.
 
Third and short let’s go into shotgun and give it to the RB 9 yards behind the LOS

They are just whining because Collins left us with such a poor roster. Key was part of that; but not the primary reason for the poor recruiting by a long shot.
