Official postgame: We WON!!!!

I actually checked the numbers and it’s worse.

This year, Tech has 19,058 entirely online students, with almost all of them graduate students.

Guess how much Tech enrollment has jumped since 2010? 22,918. From 20,941 to 43,859. 43% of Tech students were 100% online in 2022-2023 school year. And they’re in just a few degree (MS CS, MS Analytics, and MS Cyber Security)

Tech has the largest grad student enrollment for a public school?

"You know what? There's a little bit of an underdog mentality at Georgia Tech...alright...there's a little bit of that at Georgia Tech...actually...there's a whole lot of that at Georgia Tech. We like it the hard way. We like trying to go and solve problems and figure things out. And do things people don't think we can do." - Coach Brent Key

Nailed it.

LW and student sections did what was asked of them and were packed. The upper east was sad and is what is seen on TV. The upper north was sparse above the walkway, but ultimately, winning ballgames fixes that.

GT has had a growing enrollment for a decade now. Need those alums converted to season ticket holders. And the "but GT alums are different and move around the country" is a lame BS excuse. We have enough students now we should be growing our season ticket sales with alums at a minimum. Winning will get the sidewalk fans.

Hell, if damn soccer can sell out in Atlanta, GT football should be able to get there.
I was toward the front of UE around the N35 and couldn't tell how it filled up. I know those around us and we had room to stretch out and move around. We had a handful of rowdies around us who stayed loud and proud, but several tarholes, too.
I haven't sat over there in a while, but UE gives a great view of the game. High enough to see plays develop, but not so high you can't feel the action/removed from the game. I remember when fans in that section had a great reputation for going all out.

The west stands looked good. You could see it wasn't shoulder to shoulder in several places, but not too bad. The corners of the upper were vacant.

Students were awesome!

I sit in several different areas, and I haven't been a faithful attender, but that was definitely the best atmosphere I've experienced there in many years.
I think an 8p start helps with that.

I love the ACCN interview after the game.

"Haynes, was it video-game like in the 4th quarter?"

"It was Tech-like."

Those security dweebs were just picking random guys out to assault. I saw one that slammed a guy down hard after there’s already 2000 people on the field. A groups of students should have kicked his ass.
They absolutely were. Terrible! Several would each pick out a person and angle pursue them like an open field tackle, drive them to the ground and roll them, then put them into some kind of hold until they just let turn them go. Then go after another. I think there was a girl injured from that also.

I saw one give up and start videoing the kids coming over the wall like a waterfall...maybe for the beauty of the spectacle or to show his boss they were outnumbered.
