Official Transfer in Thread

What’s crazy is that this is absolutely proving my point. This is extra work done outside of practice. Not stuff done in practice…
Actually, it didn't. You obviously have no ööööing clue what you're talking about, but I will gladly let this rest.

I lift weights. When I’m doing squats, my focus is on flutes and quads. A SIDE effect of squats is core and back work. That’s not what I’m doing squats for. This drill is solely about breaking and getting out of breaks. It’s working on that plant foot and flipping your head. They’re just throwing the ball to work on focus after flipping. That’s it. It’s crazy how all these non football heads love to armchair coach and tell football players how their job is supposed to be run.
What in the hell point is that damn word salad supposed to mean? Damn, kid, you are ööööing batty

It did… I said no coach is out there coaching catching. As you can see he goes after practice to work on catching… how is that not hitting my point dead on the head.

Something does not have to be the main focus for you to be practicing it.
I lift weights.
I can tell, all the blood has left your brain.

It's still practice for the muscle.

You don't think working on focusing catching the ball is practice?

lol "job". you are an amateur, barely a step above a coed rec league.

1) Watch the ball into your hands.
2) Catch with your hands not your chest.
3) Catch it before running.
4) Go get contested passes rather than letting them come to you.

Now gimme 2 laps and go to the house.
It’s the difference between being a ‘receiver’ or a ‘defensive back’.

Iirc baybay talked in an interview about the coaches using tennis balls to teach them to catch with their hands instead of the body
I can believe this. The same concept is used with baseball infielders minus their glove. It teaches the idea of ‘soft hands’.

On a related note, I know that Cremins put John Sally up against a wall and started throwing basketballs at him from about 10 feet away at Nolan Ryan velocity because Sally kept dropping passes during games. He didn't drop many after that.

If that isn’t the point of the drill, then it’s not the point of the drill… again, I’m doing squats to work on flutes and quads. That’s all anybody does them for. Not core or back.

Can someone make a fake tweet about some five star transfers coming in to get us back on track?

I am a lock down cover corner and will get physical. WR can't catch a pass if he can't get off the LOS.
