I agree it will never happen. It is better if you just take what I say as gospel. I would never lie to you.

Deion Sanders should be the No. 1 college coaching candidate in the country ... starting with Arizona State
Arizona State has been looking for someone to kickstart its football program. Why not Deion Sanders?www.yahoo.com
Agree. Atlanta loves Prime! It’s Deion time on The Flats.Deion in Arizona could work, but I think Deion in Atlanta would definitely work. It won’t make us a perennial top 5 team, but I think most of us are realistic about what GT should be. With the expanded playoffs coming, I just want to have some type of realistic option to get there by winning our conference.
We’d be Atlanta’s team as long as we win…period. Winning above anything else cures the woes of any fanbase. Doesnt make any difference who the coach might be.People felt the exact same way about our basketball program during the last days Dwayne Morrison. On the broadcast of a Tech at Clemson game, Billy Packer said we were so bad that our coach shouldn't even take time away from recruiting to attend our games. Then, we hired a guy with no experience coaching at a major college, and a few years later we beat North Carolina three times and won the ACC Championship.
So, I am encouraged to hear a rumor that we might hire Deion Sanders. I hope it's true. It would be a sign Tech was serious about winning and committed to football. I think he would recruit and win big, and I think he would stay here, when he got offered jobs at bigger name schools, because I think he would be loyal to the school that gave him a chance to coach a Power Five team.
I also think attendance would go from dismal to packed really quickly. I think we would finally be Atlanta's team again. Yes, it
really would be the biggest transition in the history of college football. I hope it happens in time for him to be our coach against Ole Miss. Deion Sanders could take the players we have right now, win games, and fill the stands. And, he would not need a "get back" guy to keep him off the field.
Plus for my LiverI am on the D-train. Get Dion and a bunch of issues will start fading away.
Plus for fans.
Plus for recruiting.
Plus for practice.
Plus for game time performance (and game decisions).
Plus for kids wanting to come to TECH.
Plus for MONEY.
Will scare Kirby and the nadlickers.
Will make TECH the Atlanta team again.
Will have a positive effect on other sports.
Will pay for itself due to enhanced program interest.
Get some baby!
No doubt that ticket sales for at least year 1 go through the roof. I'm talking sell out every game through the roof. That alone is $1million more per game is just ticket sales over the current staff.I am on the D-train. Get Dion and a bunch of issues will start fading away.

Bluehairs might not like the demographic change that he'd bring to Bobby Dodd that first year, but öööö them.No doubt that ticket sales for at least year 1 go through the roof. I agree his on the sidelines coaching experience is low. That being said he has a ton of actual in game playing experience.Bluehairs might not like the demographic change that he'd bring to Bobby Dodd that first year, but öööö them.
Honestly, though, this really would be like a ramped up CGC hire just with more street cred, im good with it and hope we take the risk, but he doesnt have any more (and probably less) on field coaching accomplishments than Collins did.

If we were to go the Dieon route (if even possible) we would need to hire some excellent coordinators. Would need to be a Dabo type of situation.
God i hope you are correctI agree it will never happen.
Interestingly, I THINK Deion used to call the offensive plays for the team up until last year, saying he was good at that because he had a defensive mind and could counter. But I'm pretty sure he gave that up when their offense struggled a little bit, and it seems to have payed off.I agree his on the sidelines coaching experience is low.
