Our coaches suck

It doesn’t matter. you don’t think it can be successful despite being successful at the school you root for. You won’t ever change your mind.

We have a different definition of successful. Gravy training Collins recruiting for two years and then cratering and having one fluke amazing season isn’t successful. Having a worse winning percentage against FBS teams than Chan Gailey isn’t successful.

The one fluke season was 2015. You’re right because we went to too many ACC championship games and played Clemson at the height of their program’s success we had a poor FBS record.

We’re not a talented team, even with a “good recruiter” as a head coach.

That lie needs to die quickly.
We are talented just under developed. Our players aren’t reaching their potential because they aren’t pushed hard enough.

Lol no they don’t.
Maybe I’m illiterate… but that sure looks like Air Force at 6th to me

VS FBS
2010: 5-7
2011: 7-5
2012: 6-7
2013: 5-6
2014: 10-3
2015: 2-9
2016: 8-4
2017: 4-6
2018: 6-6

winning records are rare. 10 wins is an absolute outlier.

Bowl games: Meaningless wastes of time until you need to paint CPJ as a bad coach.

I am one who thinks the GT program needs to operate in waves. We should always be competitive and every few years be a title contender. I think we had that cycle going with CPJ.

I understand there are people who want us to be national title contenders year in and year out. I don’t think that is possible in today’s college football climate. I also don’t think losing all the time is a good thing. I recognized PJ had outstayed his welcome. I think that was more about PJ than it was about his style of football.

They have played no one. The only “good” team they played was USU who put up 49 on them.
You asked, I answered. Thing is, they have a great defense for kids that want to get up at 4 am for drills. Sure they don’t get the best recruits but they make it count.

So you’ve provided nothing meaningful to the conversation per usual.
You asked what TO team has had a good defense, and I answered that the AFA has the 6th best in the nation. I mean you can continue to play stupid games and win stupid prizes per usual

Living in Tennessee I’m not super surprised that a C-N student can’t grasp the simple logic that defensive rankings are irrelevant if you don’t consider opponents. Calling AF the sixth best defense is either disingenuous or idiotic.
