You forgot "those guys hurting in that locker room"

Before I drive up and plunder through the remainders, any way to know what's left?

Not much left today
Most of the good stuff snapped up Thursday

CPJ taught the clown how to win 3 games in a year. He's the OG of 3-9.

Yeah, and lost 4-5 of those losses by 1 score including the mutts in Dodd, with essentially a bunch of Freshman, and beating FSU at No.7 at home ending their streak, all the while actually looking competitive in all but 1 or 2 games after everybody was hurt or graduated. People can say "yeah yeah blah blah excuses", but tis true. That team in 15' would have whipped any CGC team while here

The ‘15 team was hurt a lot by injuries and bad luck, and was still competitive in most games. I dare say that the ‘15 team was still better than the Citadel (who beat us), and I’ll guess that it still had a defense ranked better than dead last.

I’d pick the ‘15 personnel, staff, and scheme to beat any of the three teams CGC has put out there so far.

lol this such a futile argument. Do injuries get mentioned for CGC or the last two games? If not, don’t use it now for this stupid argument.

The Citadel is not the only team we played. 15 was not better than this years KSU team, but i guess that doesn’t fit the narrative

You’re telling me that the 2015 GT team that beat #9 FSU was worse than a 2021 KSU team whose best wins were Davidson (8-3) and Monmouth (7-4), two teams I’ve literally never heard of? Get the öööö outta here.

The 2015 GT team lost to U[sic]GA (10-3) and Notre Dame (10-3) by a combined total of 14 points. That’s a lot less than the 100 point margin that 2021 GT managed. 2015 GT would roll CGC teams and it’s not close.

Huh? 2015 put up 69 on Alcorn State and 65 on Tulane, 2021 KSU (I'm assuming you mean Kennesaw) scored 49 points max against Monmouth. 2015 held Alcorn State to 6 and Tulane to 10. 2021 KSU allowed 17 points to Monmouth. Plus 2015 GT beat #9 F$U.

I'm not sure there is any metric that would show that 2021 KSU would beat 2015 GT.

You're right, Citadel is not the only team we played, but looking at other scores under CGC doesn’t improve the case for his teams. Let's rank these fun afternoons under CGC.

All time embarrassments:
  • 2019 vs Citadel L 27-24
  • 2019 vs Temple L 24-2
  • 2019 vs VPI L 45-0
  • 2019 vs U[sic]GA 52-7
  • 2020 vs Clemson L 73-7
  • 2021 vs ND L 55-0
  • 2021 vs U[sic]GA L 45-0

Unacceptable losses:
  • 2019 vs Duke L 41-23
  • 2020 vs Syracuse L 37-20
  • 2020 vs BC L 48-27
  • 2021 vs NIU L 22-21
  • 2021 vs Pitt L 52-21

Run of the mill suckiness:
  • 2019 vs Clemson L 52-14
  • 2019 vs UNC L 38-22
  • 2019 vs Pitt L 20-10
  • 2019 vs UVA L 33-28
  • 2020 vs UCF L 41-29
  • 2020 vs ND L 31-13
  • 2020 vs NC State L 23-13
  • 2020 vs Pitt L 34-20
  • 2021 vs Clemson L 14-8
  • 2021 vs UVA L 48-40
  • 2021 vs VPI L 26-17
  • 2021 vs Miami L 33-30
  • 2021 vs BC L 41-30
The 2015 GT season was an all-time bad season, but the W-L numbers obviously don't tell the whole story.
  • ND L 30-22
  • Duke L 24-20
  • UNC L 38-31
  • Clemson L 43-24
  • Pitt L 31-28
  • UVA L 27-21
  • VPI L 23-21
  • Miami L 38-21
  • U[sic]GA L 13-7
Way too many losses, but those scores are more indicative of a "run of the mill" bad team and not the all time, unimaginably bad teams that CGC has been putting on the field. I'm not trying to argue CGC vs CPJ, I'm just surprised that these CGC teams have been able to find their way out of the locker room given the on-the-field results. It's a new level of bad than what we've seen in the past.

You bringing up moral victories or scoring on a rocket toss late to make the game look close doesn’t change the avg fan opinion.

Oh and losing to Duke & UNC doesn’t help this argument.

Skov and those walk on ABacks wasn’t scoring.

As always, CPJ teams always focused on the offense as if Defense & ST are not part of the team. Even Patenaude would carve up that defense

You not trying to argue it but you are doing exactly that.
If your close losses are flawed

GT was down 30-7 until Skov scored 2 TDs under a minute left in the 4th.
