Pitt - 3.5

Isn’t it weird how small the difference between 2-2 and 4-0 is?
I was just discussing that this morning. In 2014 we were very, very close to being undefeated and a playoff team.

We are very, very close to being undefeated right now. I hope we are able to come out and pummel Pitt and give is confidence heading into the remainder of the season. I am already a bit sad we are done with 4 games.

I always thought the October part of the schedule was where the real football weather and games were. It’s been a wild season tho so far

I went back and watched it a few weeks ago. The ball did hit the ground, but it didn't affect the WR's control of the ball. It was unfortunately a catch. Still, even though it goes down as an L, we were the better team. It just came down to a few bad plays, poor adjustments, and bad luck to lose that game.
My view of it is different. I saw that ball move after contact with the ground.

Wow. I would have thought we would be favored by about that much. Seems like wetting the bed vs. NIU has led to a lot of lowball lines. We've covered fairly handily each of the past three games.
Tech has lost three in a row versus Pitt, and 5 of 6. No way Tech is favored with that recent history.

Yikes. We've been getting Duke'd by them with our recruiting where it was

If you could only know the turnover stats before hand, you could pick out your fave beach condo now (in spite of how overpriced they are).

:stir: Pitt is looking to beat Tech four years in a row this Saturday at high noon, and 6 of last 7 in the series. :shtstir:

We are fairly young, but we should recruit and have superior athletes to Pitt across the board.

That is against weak defenses.
That’s still requires the correct check offs at the LOS, making good reads and throwing strikes. Kind of like shooting 72 on an “easy golf course”. It still takes skill, even if the par 4’s are only 300 yards. We have to get pressure and limit his time to set his feet.
