Post game Discussion 111.12.3

Dabo made sure to rub our face in it all game. I hope we turn the ship around soon and can be a thorn in his side the rest of his tenure.
After today, it's gonna be a long time before that happens. Clemson is young on defense. Besides, they just straight up manhandled us on both sides of the ball for the last three and a half quarters. With a backup and patchwork O line (theirs, not ours).
We still have a very long way to go.

Regarding Pyron did not play because he is transferring, that is ridiculous. Then play Gibson. Today is a day to build depth and get reps for your backup. You are an injury away from them trying to get you bowl eligible next week against Syracuse or in two weeks against UGA. If Pyron will not play if King gets hurt, then take him off the sideline. I don’t believe this is the case.

in the offensive line play, and then today happened. They are better than they were, but they are no where near as dominant as we need them to be in order to be highly successful as a team. Clemson front seven is good, but this is an ass whoopin they are giving us up front today. Just my opinion, but we are just too soft up front.
Honestly, the O line played good enough to win. The dropped passes, King playing like trash, the idiot play calling and the defense were the problem.

Glad you mentioned Gibson. If Pyron is transferring, and the coaches know it, then put Gibson in. After a terrible first game last year, he had good games against UNC and the mutts.

This was deflating. I’ve been coming to Death Valley for a long time and was really expecting a win today. We ööööed up that first series, still came back and took a 7-0 lead, but it was all downhill from there. Never thought we’d get blown out.

I always stay the night with my lifelong CU grad friend, we typically go to breakfast the next morning after games, but I’m packed and getting ready to make the 2-hr drive back to Forsyth this afternoon. What a damn letdown.
