We almost beat a more talented, better coached team.
The same winless team as last year?
We almost beat a more talented, better coached team.
Firstly, it was already started.Yes. The search for new top dollar coordinators and the cash to pay them should have started this morning.
Fewer penalties than last year. Mason as always showed grit and heart. We may have a quarterback controversy on our hands. The end of this regime just crept one game closer. None of which can mask the fact that we lost to a team that has not won a football game since November 2019 and did not win a single game last year playing a MAC schedule. It is depressing that the coach continues with the selling smoke and mirrors to hide a miserable performance. For one thing, the fellas never gave up. They got down, but they fought back and took the lead. One bad call at the end or it's in the W column. And that was with our backup QB.
For another thing, we did not miss any extra points. Three for three.
Also, the kickoffs were deep.
So there was some improvement.
What else?
Probably but Clemson has quarterback issues of its own to go along with a pretty bad offensive line. Great defense as usual.Unfortunately, that means Clemson will make us pay for Georgia’s sins. Buttholes will bleed.
You’re really searching .. we lost to a team that shouldn’t be on the same field with usFor one thing, the fellas never gave up. They got down, but they fought back and took the lead. One bad call at the end or it's in the W column. And that was with our backup QB.

Beating UGA? Are you kidding ?The positive is that this team wasn’t going to win the national title and now they know they actually suck if they don’t take things seriously. If leadership shows up or can still be a successful year. Beating UGA is not impossible, but it will take focus and hard work.
Good manager ?Geoff is a great recruiter and pretty good manager. Let's see if he's a great manager and has the cojones to do what needs to be done. Replace his coordinator with fbs level coach's, not the div III ones he has. Of course, it'll take some $$$, but it's patently obvious patterdude and Thacker don't have what it takes to make it at this level
Awww. We'll miss you.I will not make the same $250 and an entire day mistake I made yesterday again this season. But if the GTAA wants to hire some top dollar coordinators, let me know where to pay for my "tickets" the rest of the season.
They put their punter in at QB last year and we couldn’t stop them.Probably but Clemson has quarterback issues of its own to go along with a pretty bad offensive line. Great defense as usual.
Yeah. I put that in the same bucket as money down, the sideline dance crew, the hashtag crap, signing autographs with your Twitter handle, worrying about how many lights are in the player tunnel, designing new t-shirts and shoes to wear at practice, playing rap music at practice, the stupid DJ, the Waffle House antics, a slogan for every day of the week, and the whiteboard on the sideline. There's some new talent in the choreograhy department.
Did anyone else notice that when our guys were lined up for that kickoff,
that they were swinging their arms in unison in their new dance like this was synchronized swimming or something?
I now call it Monkey Down. Can't believs that Collins let them put his face on a 3 dollar bill for that. kinda says it allYeah. it’s a bunch of dumb crap that our coaches and players focus on instead of running good routes, knowing your defensive assignment, and calling good plays. Our program is a giant ball of distractions.
Or, and hear me out on this one, we could just have an incompetent coaching staff. An interesting note:
A year ago, our freshman QB had just played great in his first game to beat FSU, and we thought we had an amazing team on its way to a good bowl. That didn't turn out well.
Now, we played crap, and lost to a bad team, and are thinking we may not even beat Kennesaw.
There is a chance we are as off as we were last year...
It’s very true. The offense stalled out, we missed FG’s failed on fourth down, etc. we did not take the opponent seriously. Hopefully it is a lesson the team takes to heart. An interesting note:

I have hope, I guess.An interesting note:

And beer as a backup policy.I have hope, I guess.
