The coaching and clock management on both sides was atrocious. All NC State had to do was go down inside the 5 on their long run, kick a 20 yard FG, and celebrate. Both sides used timeouts poorly. Bad play calls in key situations all around. 30 > 29, but we won in spite of game management today.

Outside of a handful of bad defensive lapses (basically 4 run plays), the defense played fine.

When he scored that TD with 1:30 left, I can’t remember if I posted it here or texted my cousin , but I said “that was the best possible outcome”. If they just burn clock, they were in FG range with zero time left.
