Post Your Georgia Tech Season Predictions

7-5. There’s more talent on this roster than it gets credit for, thanks to poor coaching from the previous regime. Things will start to come together this season, and we’ll have some hope for the future.
We already have hope for the future regardless if we win 4,5,6, or 7 games. This season can not be judged by wins and losses alone. This season will be judged on if we look like we are coached. I just hope folks don’t start turning on Key if the wins aren’t there. Wins are hard to come by and we have young QB’s and a lot of inexperienced players. As others have mentioned, the margin between wins and losses in the mid level pack of teams is razor thin and often comes down to a turnover or key penalty. If this staff just looks competent and we have several close losses then that will be a positive season. My biggest concern is our defense. Thacker has been given the longest leash I’ve ever seen in major college football. I hope Key made the right call. The good thing is we’ll know by the end of week 3.

I think 6-6 would be a step in the right direction, and anything better would be great.

Good list, but I can see 8-4 or 9-3. Tech simply has UNC's number, and Miami is a definite show me team.

Obviously none of us will actually know anything at all about this team until toe meets leather at the Benz. So call it wishful thinking or call me naive or just plain stupid, but this is my current projection for the season, where "T" represents toss-up

And yes, I predicted a win against the mutts. They lost the two men most responsible for their offense, and we got one of the two, and they hired Mike Booboo as OC.
Agree. I like the way you’re thinking.

Wins - Louisville, SC State, Wake Forest, Bowling Green, Miami, Boston College, UNC, UVA, Syracuse, Georgia, Clemson, Oklahoma
Losses - Ole Miss, Clemson

We need sacrificial bans before the first game of the season and this thread seems like a good place to start.
Here ya go…
One thing's for sure: if Dylan Leonard keeps dropping wide open passes like he did against the mutts, we may not win any.

7-5--but poss. 8-4 if no significant injuries (we ain't deep) Key ACC COY!

I see nine games with a somewhat reasonable chance to win, and three with a not so reasonable chance. Putting on my GT homer gold colored glasses, factoring in our propensity for blowing games we have no reason to lose and the occasional miracle win, we’re finishing as high as 9-3 regular season, no lower than 7-5.
