Post Your Georgia Tech Season Predictions

We're going to kick Ole Miss's ass in Oxford. Miss Lane will be öööötin bullits.

We already have hope for the future regardless if we win 4,5,6, or 7 games. This season can not be judged by wins and losses alone. This season will be judged on if we look like we are coached. I just hope folks don’t start turning on Key if the wins aren’t there. Wins are hard to come by and we have young QB’s and a lot of inexperienced players. As others have mentioned, the margin between wins and losses in the mid level pack of teams is razor thin and often comes down to a turnover or key penalty. If this staff just looks competent and we have several close losses then that will be a positive season. My biggest concern is our defense. Thacker has been given the longest leash I’ve ever seen in major college football. I hope Key made the right call. The good thing is we’ll know by the end of week 3.
I understand where you’re coming from, but disagree. The Collins era was all about moral victories. To turn the corner we need a bowl season. Anything less and the path to relevance will be a LOT harder. It’s a tough spot for Key to walk into, but wins and losses are all that matters this season.

* GT has played really good against UNC the last several years, even when the Clown was the head coach.

** I've been watching GT football since 1958, we hardly ever play good at UVA, even the years
when we have had better talent than UVA. The 1990 game was an exception because GT had equal
or better talent, but much better coaching.

If we're the sole reason the nutlickers don't get another trophy that is good enough for me.

Unfortunately, as awesome as it would be to win that game, it wouldn't have any effect on the CFP, since they could still win the SEC and get an automatic bid.
