And politician. In this day and age it’s rare to be a good coach and good AD. AD needs to be a business man.
You forgot LSU.The NCAA won’t touch UGA. Georgia, Bama, Clemson and OSU operate on a completely different set of rules than the rest of CFB.
Does anyone really think he went to UGA for less money?A little lost in all this is that they are officially firing him for cause. Presumably that means they think they have enough evidence to nail him for recruiting violations. And the rumors floating around is that Mims is one of the guys involved. The same Mims that ended up at uga and (again presumably) sparked the “uga could be next” tweet from a few weeks ago.
EDIT: apparently not lost to @jacketfanatic15.
You can’t hire Hugh Freeze when the NCAA is about to hammer you.Hugh Freeze. Now go out and get him.
I thought about adding that. But I don’t know everyone’s leanings.And politician.
Really, Butch Jones led the best two years at UT since the Fulmer era. I suspect that Gus Malzahn is the easy choice here, hell they already hired his DC for him. If Gus is not interested, maybe Hugh Freeze or Tom Herman.
Fulmer hasn't been respected here for awhile. Some say he was responsible for getting Majors out. Fulmer was going regardless, but this just made it easier to show them both the door.Just curious, do you think that Phil Fulmer has been helpful or harmful in his tenure as AD? I really have no idea, but it does seem that he hasn't gotten it right as football HC's go. Could be, they got the "next" hire late in the game or didn't plan on "X, Y, or Z" happening. Any insight would be appreciated.
Word on the skreet in Athens is that's where the money is being washed by the new shampoo people in the back.God I hope that the cheating trail leads to an Athens area Great Clips.
They've dropped their guard a bit due to ll of the election lawsuits that the GA pols have been dealing with. Biden and Harris have saved the day for the gaggers as the pols with be working overtime in hopes of reacquiring the title of preseason National Champions."Georgia has gotten sloppy, but there's been no word on the NCAA looking at Georgia."
might as well add UNCheat to that listYou forgot LSU.
