The jersey on the far right is one of the throwback jerseys we used 2 years ago. That gold color will be the gold on everything (pants, trim, etc)

We'll have a white and a gold helmet with 3 jerseys--white, gold, and blue. Check out the Hive's Machine post.

Or check the previous page of this thread.

They look all right, I'd have to see them in action, or at least with the pants and helmets on a guy before passing judgement.

Sorry. Had the info from a player days ago, but didn't check all of the threads. Just trying to assist over here since I don't come here often. Hope you like 'em, I do.

Ooph. I know that isn't the best picture, but my initial thought is if these are what they're going to look like, I'd rather we keep what we have. I think that piping going across the chest and down the sides is awful. I'm more of a traditionalist, for sure.

But we'll see. Thanks for posting this picture, at any rate.

Man, I would love to see white shirts/pants/helmets at least once. Although I'm not sure how I feel about that line going across the chest.

If these are really the jerseys I think it's time I started a FirePaulJohnson.com site.

Might as well get used to it guys. PJ is going to modernize Tech football whether we like it or not. I mean, we can keep the "traditional" look and stick with the average product we've been seeing the last 30+ years or we can break out a new look, attitude and make some new, winning traditions. I mean, what was the uniform that breaks the most rules of Tech traditions? 1990, and look what that led to.

I agree...a fresh start means a new look. I think the blue one looks badass.

Anyone who doesn't like the jerseys accepts mediocrity and should start a website entitled "iAcceptMediocrity.com."

Said website should contain numerous articles and links to Stingtalk posts advocating their immediate dismissal.

Well, they have their merits.

I just think:

White hat would be better with Gold logo.

White & Blue (especially Blue) shirts would look better with Gold numerals.

Gold shirt better with White numerals.

Hate the piping on shirts. Texas, bama, Auburn, ND, PSU, OSU, USC, OU. None of them seem to see a need to do this to their unis. Don't see why we should. Fine tune yes, but not these stripes.

If we beat ugag, don't care what we wear however.

Well, to be honest, we aren't Texax, Alabama, Auburn, ND, PSU, OSU, USC or OU. Much as I hate to admit it, we aren't. Maybe in the 60s we were, but my point is that we need to restart the tradition and a new look is one way to help do that.

Smart guy here.

:wow: lawsuit from apple. Court will happen.

A "white out" sooner or later seems nearly inevitable with this combination. But would GT fans follow suit?

Call me a heretic but I like the blue and white combinations (hat-shirt-pants):

Gold Helmet - Navy Jersey - White Pants
White Helmet - Navy Jersey - White Pants
Gold Helmet - White Jersey - Navy Pants

Dangit...

I thought we would always stay away from the horrible piping running all over the football uniforms like Miami uses that seem to change every year and are always ugly.

These suck.

I loved our uniforms before. The blue one is the worst b/c the horrible stripe across the top is more prominent. At least with the white, it's not there as much. I can tolerate those. Hopefully we can convince our opponents to bring their dark unis so we never see the blue ones.

I guess the gold Calvin... er Jonathan Dwyer... jersey I bought is no longer valid...

We're gonna look like an arena football team. Hopefully we'll win more games in these...

Oh God YES. I typically hate those looks, but I think they look awesome in our colors. I'm excited as HELL about this.

I think one of the problems people have with these jerseys is that many of the best known early adopters have HORRIBLE color schemes.

Oregon's diamond patterns are overboard, but they'd still be ugly without them. VT, Miami, and Clemson in purple are also awful.

Gold, navy blue and white are great looking complimentary colors associated with very traditional teams in CFB such as ND, Navy and GT (though we've varied more). Also sometimes UCLA.

GT could be the first really good looking team in newer style uniforms and it definitely won't hurt us on the recruiting trail or with drawing casual fans. Winning is most important but getting some bad ass looking uniforms, and getting a rep for great variety, will be a boost.

White helmets on white jerseys looked pretty good on Kim King/Lenny Snow & company!

Amen, Brutha!

I'd like to see the 'throwback Old Gold' on pants and hats (maybe a navy GT) but not necessarily with the Old Gold tops. I'd go with the white hats there. Even the Old Gold hats and pants would look good with Navy tops, methinks.

We definitely need to S-Can the brilliant urine, Notre Dame-ish Gold we've been sporting for so long. IT'S OLD GOLD PEEPLE. OLD AS IN OLD. NOT PEE-PEE. NOT CHEDDAR. OLD!!
