Too late!

Dear Load, that triple option is terrifying to see in action...

At least it's the proper color of gold.

People are opposed to it because our new uni's will eventually evolve to this:

Let's hope not but that seems to be the trend.

I love it when people act like the uniform makers get to choose what schools wear. It doesn't work like that except maybe for Oregon, but that's a special case. Anyway Russell, Nike and UA submit designs to the school. The school chooses which ones they want to wear. I've seen 3-4 pages of Russell designs that were pretty crazy looking, but we chose to go with what we want.

Regarding that picture, some moron at OSU approved that jersey.

So, specifically with Georgia Tech, who makes the decision? The players? coaches? administration? Does Clough approve this?

It's usually a coaching decision. O'Leary and Gailey decided on what they wanted to wear, and so did CPJ but he let the players vote. And with any organization there's definitely administration input. I doubt Clough says anything about unis.

By no means do I think the fans should get to choose what the team wears, and I understand that no school lets their fans choose the uniform. That being said, I still have to look at them when I go to the games so I'm gonna give my opinion when given the opportunity.

my opinion is that the coach should be telling the players what to do, not the other way around. i know quite a few Tech fans that are TIRED of the silliness and just want football back.

get RID of the stupid announced 'events' during the game. are you smarter than a Junior Jacket? obviously who ever came up with that one is not.

get RID of the stupid circus around the game. its about the game. have a band, have some guys in ties, where is the old guard?? leaving in droves

who is gonna pay for it all? the students? the young alumni? HA

we are losing the deep pockets to turn our stadium into "entertainment" --- I just want good ol' fashioned Tech football. no more marketing!

If we had enough deep pockets to fill the damn stadium and pay the bills we wouldn't have to make the games and event.

White and gold - that's our school colors. We trim with navy - used to trim with black. The Wreck is painted white and gold. The song says "up with the white and gold". Wear white and gold.

If we want to wear blue jerseys, change the colors.
Paint the wreck. Write a new song.

Why not a lighter blue? If we just want to look cool and don't care what the school colors are - UCLA's light blue and gold is a lot cooler look than navy.

It varies year-to-year. This year it happened to be a blind man with a dart board.

Thats just plain and simple bullshart. If the money was there we wouldnt have the advertisements and circus that we have now. You can put the blame on young/old/etc/etc, but the fact is we don't have money to burn so gameday has to have something to get the wife/kiddos in the seats to buy a hotdog and a coke.

My guess is that we're going to stick with the gold helmet in 10 or 11 of the regular season games.

We'll wear the white jersey on the road def. and the white at home when opponents will let us. We'll wear the blue if and when the ncaa/opponent doesn't allow us to and the white hat/gold jersey will be the "throwback" thursday uniform.

Just my guess and I"m only at page 11 so if it has been confirmed or denied on what we're doing....oh well.

This is because we all know that beej67 is gay.
Not as gay as this thread.

But to be fair, this thread isn't nearly as gay as the one on the Hive arguing about whether black is the combination of all colors or the absence of color.

beej67,
notes that two stingtalkers have met his wife
