Say it ain't so Calvin :(

yeah it's no surprise why 5-star WRs aren't lined up to play in the CPJ offense.

What's strange is that 5-star RBs and 4-5-star running QBs aren't either.

QBs don't want to get hit that much (though if they're dropping back 35 times they're going to get hit just as much or more, and they'll get hit in zone read offenses, but that doesn't fit the narrative) and QBs and RBs of 4 and 5 star nature don't think the offense gets them ready for the pros.

Drop back QBs get hit as much as option QBs?

it doesn't. QBs also like to throw and we don't.

Ye, he answered the question honestly. No, we can't fault him for that. But he's supposed to be an ambassador of Tech. He could have given a diplomatic answer. He could have said something about Tech being a great school, and that NFL is not necessarily the destination for all, and a great education to fall back on is necessary and that if youre great you'll make it to NFL anyway. But he chose not to. And while I'm not mad or disappointed because like BJW said who ööööing cares, it shows his character.

Also who ööööing cares because kids today don't give a öööö about a 32 year old retired wide receiver who played for a shitty Detroit team and had a mediocre career with no rings. That's the truth too right?

probably true too. Also, his starting QB for most of his DET career sucked. Matt Stafford is overrated dog shit.

Yet that same starting quarterback beat Calvin's coach twice and lost to the one whom he wouldn't wanna play for if he had to do it again.

This is disappointing. Just think how Calvin would eaten single coverage alive. You'd think that would be attractive to him. Whether he agrees with it or not, it's a reasonable point of view... and it'd be nice to have the world's greatest WR and our most famous FB alumnus contribute to the solution rather than to the problem. If he genuinely doesn't think the offense is good for WR, diplomacy would've been the right way to go.

Iiwii. I ain't mad. I think it was sufficiently diplomatic. Even baybay wished for more targets.

It would've been less diplomatic to talk about firing sewak

Was it Calvin or Bay Bay who said if they had to do it over again they would pick Tech again because ...
"single coverage, baby" or WTTE.
Yea, I had to hear about Calvin getting shut down by UGAg. Can you imagine what the outcome would have been with CPJ's offense forcing UGAg into single man to man coverage all game against Calvin? They would have either had to pull help over, allowing us to run wild, or single covered, allowing Calvin to catch for 200+ yards.

You need a QB that wants to deal out the hitting and punish defenders, not one that wants to have a clean jersey at the end of the game.
