SEC is a shell of its former self...

I would argue NC's culture - particularly it's apparent permissive attitude toward academics - should make it more competitive. UNC has not lacked for athletes. It's shortcomings have been elsewhere.
 
The decline of the SEC has everything to do with lack of quality coaches. If you go back 10 years you have Saban, Meyer, Miles, Fulmer, Tuberville, Richt, Spurrier. That's probably the greatest collection of coaches in a conference at one time ever. Now it's Saban and the 13 dwarves, which is ironic considering Saban is about 5 feet tall. Saban has run off everyone, including Urban Meyer. The ACC and B1G have totally upgraded their coaching over the past 3-5 years with some great hires and the fact that Dabo has turned into the ultimate diamond in the rough. People are already talking Dan Mullen, Chip Kelly, etc coming to the Vols after last weekend, but I'm not one of them just yet.

I wouldn't put Tatertown in any list of great coaches.

I think Tuberville has a decent track record. He beat Bama 6 straight times and has an undefeated season on the resume. Probably would've lost to USC, but would've been much closer than OU.

He set Texas Tech back almost 30 years. He didn't do Cincinnati any favors either.

I'm just saying we've had this argument on here before regarding the SEC East compared to the ACC, in particular to the Coastal. I'd say right now the SEC is better, although there are quite a few games left to be played.

Yeah you guys probably should've won, we should've won last weekend. It all shakes out IMO.

That doesnt "shake out". We kicked your ass. But flukes happen, and teams who get their ass kicked all day sometimes fluke out. We would be favored against everyone but UGA in the SEC east. You and Florida sucking really has turned that division into a joke. Yall need to fix that shit.

Ok you guys kicked our ass rushing the football, you also made several huge mistakes, which is part of the game.

I don't know how you can be in the Coastal and be too critical of another division. You're not really a bunch of world beaters, just like the SEC East.

Because you are the second best team in the East, and we ran roughshod over you. We are expected iiuc to be midlevel in the coastal. In fairness to you, maybe we are better than predicted.
