Sell-outs this year...

Excellent analysis--and therein lies the problem. With all the new enthusiasm for the change in direction of the program, we will not sell out more than two games in a 55,000 seat stadium in the center of a three million plus metropolis. And your observation is astute--no sellout of Miss State unless they bring a ton of followers and we have won at VPI. Conversely, if we are torched in Blackburg, look for less than 45,000. :wow: I think FSU represents the best chance to sell out, but you are right, both teams have to be playing well and winning, and the game has to be meaningful in the standings for each. FSU travels well and will bring a lot of fans.

Look at our average attendance. It's around 50,000.

All the ACC games and MSU will be at least that.

No way I'm driving 550 miles round trip to see Jax State or Gardner Webb. However, depending on time of game, Miss State could be close to sell out. Also, do think that UVA, FSU and Miami games will be close to sell outs. This is first time in several years that FSU game in Atlanta and there is a sizable Semi-Hole alumni(??) base in and around town. If Miami is playing well, they will turn out some Marta-based alumni. P.S. re: Jax State and GW tix, will give them to a friend/relative in Atlanta, he will make sure that Tech friendly person(s) will use them.
