Not the same. JT's "fumble" was after forward progress had ended. It was pile and the refs should have blown the play dead. He got in, but I can understand not calling the TD, it was not as clear as day. The fumble (strip) however was complete b.s. The play was stalled and the refs just let it go on for what felt like an eternity. That game was heavily called in uga's favor. Re-watch the fake kick uga did. Their outside blocker was holding our contain guy on the play side, in broad daylight, and a completely open field. The blocker has to release on outside plays like that. No way the kicker gets the first down without a hold there. I think it resulted in a FG from inside the 5. Should have been a 10 yard penalty, and maybe a punt. uga's blocked kicks in the game were straight up illegal, too. Bull rushing the snapper. No calls.
But, the worst was the pile up "fumble" against uga with Reggie in 2006. No whistle and the f'n refs are pulling bodies off the pile, and a LB for uga scopes up the ball and returns it. WTF!!!!
