Brown returning or not likely has zero bearing on what Camp does. They play two different WR positions. He probably could've but if we lose Brown for the season he'll be needed at WR.

Yeah, it seems obvious: blitz, pressure, give him complex looks up front; defend the short passes so that his check down isn't there and force him to try and beat you deep. He likely will not have time or be quick enough to make the correct read and get the pass off; plus he hasn't shown the ability to throw a great deep ball.
He will need to hit a few deep balls and force the defense to adjust. Also, it would be great if we could get a lead. Playing from behind lets the defense play more aggressive.

That's what it looked like to me as well. I haven't heard anything otherwise. What are we thinking happened to Brown? Looked like maybe a freak “hit his head and rattled his brain” to my untrained eye, based on the way he laid there and the way he went off the field. Not good, but hopefully no lingering effects. The bye came at a good time.
Our kicking game is probably the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. We look like a below average high school team out there, and it's embarrassing. Our HS team's kicker decided not to play last week due to COVID concerns, so I took an afternoon to work with one of my soccer players to teach him how to kick a football in that week's game. FWIW, I don't know öööö about coaching kickers and have never kicked live in a game, much less taught someone else. He was 4-4 on PATs on Friday, because it's NOT A DIFFICULT KICK AT ALL.
It's hard to find stats on blocked kicks vs. misses, but here are our PAT rates from the past few years, including a few misses from backup kickers in blowout games or when we had an injury to the starter:
2019: 23-24
2018: 53-55
2017: 34-37
2016: 46-46
2015: 44-44
2014: 65-66
2013: 53-54
So far this season, we are 6-10 if you include FGs less than 30 yards, which basically amount to PATs. Extend that out to 32 yards, and we're 7-12. That is embarrassing inept.
Screw that... We won 7-9 games per year with Reggie... I would love to start with that now. I think he can be better than Reggie, but he needs time to developHe definitely has the talent and poise but I’m not confident that the coaching staff has what it takes to develop him. We have to protect him and give him confidence when he steps up to throw. I’d hate for him to be another Reggie.
I was focusing more in Reggie not fully developing and topping out his Freshmen year. He didn't get the coaching or system he needed to succeed and it showed.Screw that... He wasted a bunch of plays last game. That stupid run between the tackles kept getting stuffed. Thus the similarities between Sims and Ball. I get the feeling that Patenaude got the job because he had a history with Collins, wanted to get a P5 gig, and because no one else wanted to come to Tech until the triple option roster was cleansed.

On our current path, we are eventually going to have an extra point returned for a score against us.
