prior to the UNC game. If so then it probably is not CBK.
I think Chadwell is the popular choice. However; while I think Chadwell has a much higher ceiling than Key does, just not sure about him. I am leery on his lack of P5 experience. Coaching in a FBS non power 5 school is much different. We made this error with Collins. So, my red alert light is blinking.Eh. My reading of the situation is that everyone was probably on board with Chadwell, but Key's win has led to a renewed push for Key among some influencers. I don't anything is official.
That's not the error we made with Collins at all. Temple was built up by Rhule (two consecutive 10-win seasons when he left for Baylor), Collins only had the job for 2 years and had a 7-win and 8-win season. We all knew that.We made this error with Collins.

He got the job because of his excellent recruiting track record, local roots, and business plan to brand GT with the largest city in the southeast and proverbial capital of college football.
Chadwell wants to stay in the southeast; he’d probably be plan D for Auburn. They are going to pay big bucks to a big nameHas anyone considered that Chadwell likely has a choice of 2-3 programs after him. I'm thinking specifically of Nebraska and Auburn along with Tech and maybe one or two more. I just don't know. We could certainly do much worse than Chadwell... at least he has a clear offensive identity.
Yes, but along the way Stan forgot to hire a guy who could win football games. That's not the error we made with Collins at all. This is one of those.... "What would you do if I told you..." questions.
I effing hate those questions. They are completely useless.
Yeah, the two years at Temple just checked the box of "head coaching experience" but he straight up sold himself for the job to TStan. Collins didn't fit the mold of "up and coming" group of 5 head coach at all, really.
Like Chizik, Malzahn, and Harsin?Chadwell wants to stay in the southeast; he’d probably be plan D for Auburn. They are going to pay big bucks to a big name
He got the job because TStan and Bud Petersen were gullible.
