Getting a fluky turnover against GA Southern late to spark the late JT drive is a good break, since that TO could have gone either way (It was reviewed IIRC).

Playing like crap against the Tarholes (getting stuffed from inside the 5 several plays in a row) isn't a "bad break" - it's öööö football.

Getting dominated by the Cadavers (45 yards in the 3rd qtr!!) isn't a "bad break" but just bad football.

The injuries to Gotsis and others are "bad breaks".

I don't think anyone is calling him a genius. Unless you're just a douche bag trying to push an agenda, you can admit that PJ is a good football coach and his track record speaks for itself. He has flaws just like most coaches out there. We could do better than PJ but we could do a hell of a lot worse too.

I don't think he's that good of a coach and find his play-calling one-sided and predictable.

We def. owned Miss State and the mutts (Take away that shitty fumble TD and we beat those öööööööööös by 21 pts). Clemson was 100% won by our defense...a defense that many of you heap abuse upon while ignoring how poorly the offense has played.

Are you kidding me? 100% won by the defense (Funny how PJ is the HC, yet people like you don't give him any credit for the D playing well)? Sure, we had 2 INT TD's and the D was a BIG reason we won but the offense played a role too. We had 353 yards of offense at 5.8 yards per play against the #1 defense in the country. We only scored 1 TD but we held the ball for 35 minutes, sustained drives and if you didn't know, kickers can't kick field goals unless they are in range and most of the time it's because the offense is moving the ball. Did I mention they were the best defense in the nation?

Referees overturning a call on the field isn't a "break". It was a play made by our guys. You really hate to give ANY credit at all to PJ. He certainly deserves criticism but öööö dude. Have a little perspective.

Thursday night, call your play before each snap. Write it down. Write down the play CPJ called. Report back with your % correct. Should make for a good Friday thread.

I've tried it. Watching games by myself, I'll call a play, watch the real play happen, then rewind to review. Fast forward during commercials to catch up. It's neat to see that it's not always the "same play" as it appears in real-time. Lots of little stuff happening.

You must be mistaken. I thought all we did was have our OL dive at knees and hand the ball off to the B-back? It's certainly not as complicated as you make it out to be.

Life must really suck to be that miserable. The above photo was taken when the First George Bush was president and that was above and beyond Bobby's best year as HC. I was 4 I'm sure it was great but I live in the 21st century and CPJ has won at a rate not seen since Bobby Dodd whom the ööööing stadium is named after.
