The problem with this (and the rule in general, really) is that football by nature involves forcable contact with your helmet, and if you truly try to take it away in all scenarios you're left with a much, much different game.

You shouldn't be hitting anyone with the crown of your helmet. If you do, then you were not not to properly tackle

The sport is pretty much out of control. Look at all the fighting by the players. I don’t agree with half of the targeting penalties but the worst is when the rules aren’t followed the same game by game. It’s going to devolve to fans fighting in huge numbers.

Still stewing over this shit. So many BS calls or no calls that led to GA coming back. That’s what makes me so mad: It’s one thing to just get beat but when the refs have so many questionable calls that all directly led to 21 points for our opponent, it feels like we were robbed.
