We die
Why is that a nightmare scenario?Nightmare scenario: Gibbs follows him and wins the Heisman next year.
I didn't see much effort out of him or any coach the last several weeks of the season. Obviously, he quit around the ND game. He made no effort to keep anyone and I suppose made his secret little "RBI for life" or whatever he was signaling to his recruits and Gibbs. What are you doing?
What would have told you he gave more effort? Why are you faulting someone for trying to improve their career? He didn’t do any disservice to GT and is on a year-to-year contract with a new Offensive Coordinator coming in and a potentially lame duck head coach. His situation is not stable.I didn't see much effort out of him or any coach the last several weeks of the season. Obviously, he quit around the ND game. We never had juice. Just juiceboxes on the sidelinesOnce he leaves, the juice will have officially evaporated
And worked hard to keep them onboard instead of throwing the resume out and abandoning ship.
I understand he will be making more money, not sure if California taxes will render that moot. I understand career building. However, it now seems he abandoned ship around the ND game. I wonder if the hard running from Smith was in spite of TC as opposed to for him. As much Rah Rah as their is to eventually get him as our HC, TV has likely burned his bridge back to GT.
Did I say I faulted him for trying to improve his career? He basically layed down on the job since the ND game. He has made no effort to help GT in any form for the last month, apparently taking a paycheck and looking for a job. What would have told you he gave more effort? I have no problem with leaving for a better job. I have a problem with his total lack of effort for GT for the past month. I follow his Twitter. Something was brewing. He layed down on us. I never want him back here. Ever.Maybe he's burned his bridge to CGC, but there's no way he's burned his bridge to GT. He'll be welcomed back with open arms if he decides to come back in the future. No one's going to hold leaving this staff after three years for a better job against him. Especially not given his stature within the GT diaspora, and how well he seemed to perform while here.
RBI likely means “Running Back Institute.” As in trying to recreate a similar vibe to “Wide Receiver U” at the Georgia Institute of Technology. There’s nothing too cryptic about it.Did I say I faulted him for trying to improve his career? He basically layed down on the job since the ND game. His tweets were cryptic, I thought they were strange at the time, but now make more sense. Obviously, he though of the RB's as his little team and didn't think of the entire team.
Y'all can love him and crybaby all you want. Good for him on leaving for USC. His bridge is burned, as far as I'm concerned, for his lack of effort for GT this last month. Good riddance. Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.
You must have a ton of handles on ignore because there's a fair bit of crying in hereRBI likely means “Running Back Institute.” As in trying to recreate a similar vibe to “Wide Receiver U” at the Georgia Institute of Technology. There’s nothing too cryptic about it.
There seems to only be one crybaby here. And it’s not the people saying “Wow good luck Coach Choice!”
Good. All of you patting him on his ass as he sat back on his ööööing couch and gave zero effort for GT this past month can kiss my ass.RBI likely means “Running Back Institute.” As in trying to recreate a similar vibe to “Wide Receiver U” at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Stay this madness!Good. All of you patting him on his ass as he sat back on his ööööing couch and gave zero effort for GT this past month can kiss my ass.
Congrats to him. I imagine being an RB coach at Southern Cal with their RB tradition is surreal..
Bush and Emmitt were amazing HS running backs, for sure. But JJacket doesn't know jack öööö. Per usual.Emmitt Smith says hello.
