Tashard Choice Gone

Actually, that is a real problem with some of the GT grads I hire and/or work with. We try to screen those out when we can.

Back in my day (and before) it was the absolute opposite.
We were not the geeks and nerds. Yes, we had a few, but the rest were very commonsense and hands-on students with enough book smarts to survive the 5 or 6 year plan.

At this point, our hire next year will have to be a STRONG G-5 or FCS coach who brings his complete staff with him.
Preferably someone from the South who has recruiting ties to the area.

When he got to the NFL, he was meh.

you need to study up.

he ran Dorsett out of Dallas, became one of the top NFL back, 2k total offense, and Cowboys screwed him by sending him to that icey ööööhole.

it worked out good for the cowboys tho.

Hmmm, a job offer comes along with more pay and a longer employment future, I'd take it too.

The best recruiter BY FAR on the staff and one of the best in the country. If you disagree (which I’m sure you will because you’re an idiot) then why would Riley want to bring him on despite our record the last three years.
One of the best in the COUNTRY? Put down the crack pipe already.

Every word out of those that can make that happen is it is more affordable next season. We don't have Texa$ sized boosters. Ours would probably miss a few million this season. However, if you, and enough like you demanding he be fired, take out second mortgages on your homes, you can probably scrounge up enough to make yourself happy and buy him out. Amazing how easy it is for some of you to play with OTHER booster's money.
I obviously don't disagree with what you say about waiting a year. We almost have to, although at least one member of the Athletics board has said they had the money but decided to wait. But my fear is that by waiting, we will lose even more in recruiting, contributions, ticket sales, attendance, and reputation than we would lose by coughing up the cash now.
