Tashard Choice Gone

Why better than Bama? Almost guaranteed to get drafted playing for Bama. USC is probably a .500 team next season, Gibbs' last one in CFB.
Although going to Bama would probably mean he would get his chance against the mutts in the playoffs and beat their lousy azzes, I would just rather see him help build an offense at a school known in the past for great RB's. I don't give a rip about USC or LA, but I just think that would make sense for him. And he's gonna go HIGH in the NFL draft no matter where he goes.

This move is better in the long run for Tech. While Choice was the lone bright spot for our program, learning from Riley and getting in with his connections will be huge if he ever becomes HC here. Hoping he absorbs a lot, and he is deemed to be HC material when we inevitably fire the used car salesman (and his catfishing victim TStan) next year.

That's not how burden of proof works. You have to show why he's considered "one of the best" when people question your assertion. Being hired isn't a metric.

As for why I think Riley wanted him, they probably met while Choice was recruiting Texas and Riley liked his personality. Either that or it's to try and "buy" Gibbs through him.
This can’t be a serious post. It simply can’t be.

Riley doesn't need to buy players by hiring coaches. They have the #2 RB from the 2022 class coming in already. That being said, Gibbs would be wise to follow Choice to USC.

It's actually quite surprising that DeMarco Murray isn't following Riley to USC, but Venables used to coach at OU when Murray was there.

You've got to KNOW that TC has approached Gibbs about coming to USC, be stupid NOT to. And given that Gibbs has high regard/respect (supposedly) for TC it stands to reason there is a high likelihood that he would follow him. A new school, new coaches-players, entirely new culture--be nice to have a familiar mentor there to help out. Be the same at Bama , Ohio State etc--except no TC to help navigate. Just my guess.

Kind of easy to lead in total kickoff yards when you receive so many chances.

If he were returning kicks at UGAg or Alabama, he might get 1-2 opportunities a game. How many kickoffs did UGAg actually have to receive this season? Mostly they received the opening kick or the kick after half and maybe one more kick during the game.
He was 24th in the nation is kickoff yards average. No matter how you want to marginalize him, he was incredibly strong for us.

Because USCw can't grab an SEC RB coach? Hell, I don't know, but to say Choice is one of the best in the country ignores facts
What “facts” do you have to support your case?

ask yourself, how many four stars has Choice been the primary recruiter for? How many wouldn’t give Tech the time of day without Choice? How many how top shelf P5 offers do the recruits that Choice had committed to Tech? Now, given our restrictions and resources he did more with less than almost anyone. Watch the recruits he’ll be directly involved with at USC.

I admire your loyalty to all our coaches, and the moment they are gone you break out the knives. I can’t wait for your posts when Gefoff is gone.
You are either with us or against us. When Collins is gone, he's against us

So I have to provide "facts" that he isn't a top recruiter in the country? He's not. He's a good recruiter, but he's not "USC got one of the best in the country" good

did you read the post? I said that.

I said total offense and yes he did in 1987

Actually the Cowboys won 3 games in 1987.
Walker was the best CFB I've ever seen with my own eyes, and a decent pro RB. Pro FB is a business and he smartly maximized his money.

My 2¢. Sorry to see TC go as I think he was a good position coach and recruiter and it was nice to have a GT man on the Flats selling the school. I assume he left because we suck and it sucks to suck. I don't blame him for that. This is his professional life and there comes a point where loyalty to your alma mater takes a back seat to keeping your career off life support.

I would love to know his true opinions about CGC, and what could be done to improve things on the Flats next year.

Oh, well I stand corrected. You're right, Herschel Walker > Tony Dorsett.
3 whole wins! 1 whole season of 2k TOTAL yards!
Dumbass.
