I think poor angles is the biggest culprit. We missed at least 4 sacks Saturday due to taking inside angles on the QB and allowing him to spin out and gain positive yardage. I haven't really noticed us getting straight up beaten by speed though.I have seen plenty of times where our D has struggled to keep up. To add, poor angles, haven't helped either. Now, I will say this. Everyone is focused on the "big hit". I think that is 100% accredited to the NFL and ESPN. The simple wrap up type tackle is what is shown on TV. But, this is an issue, that happens, with all of college football. My observation comes from seeing us whiff on tackles, due to lack of speed or perhaps bad angles... Either way, it causes losses to turn into gains.
