The CFP National Championship Game Presented by AT&T

Now that they scored that reversal actually was probably beneficial.

According to the refs at the Orange Bowl that wouldn't have been a TD.

This is a drawback of having a college playoff system. The team that gets hot late wins it, like the NFL and MLB. The old bowl system and rankings were highly subjective, but teams were judged more on what they did for the full season. Ohio State is nothing close to the team that laid a turd against Virginia Tech.

Enlighten me... This will be good...

Extremely pedantic, critical of own team, hanging on technicalities based on an offhand comment, confrontational when challenged on being right.

WTF are you even talking about? Do you understand the phrase "pushing the envelope"? We play to the extent of the rules with both our interior line blocking and blocking on the edge. None of it is illegal, but it always has the potential to turn in to a penalty if not done correctly.

You're good buddy, I donate generously to Goodwill!

There is some serious money going to be lost tonight if this keeps going.

Casinos probably loved seeing how much money went on Oregon -6. Oregon can look so good stringing together successful plays. Their offense can also really tire out a defense if Oregon's defense gets three-and-outs or turnovers (i.e. FSU).

But FSU did get a bunch of stops, particularly in the first half. We ran plays much slower and had more points at halftime than Oregon. I'm not saying Oregon isn't very good, but sometimes people go overboard with how good Oregon's offense is.

It's not getting hot late, it's inproving over the course of the season. An early loss has always been viewed as better than a late loss.

That's not a drawback, it's a feature.

I may be crazy, but I really think with Justin as our QB, we could beat either of these teams. They are definitely not the top 2 teams in the country IMO.

Could we win? Yes. Ou has a better d than us, as does Bama.

Would we win? Unlikely. But we arent far from being very competitive. If we had a BBack as elite as Thomas is and more talent on D, particularly on the line...

Can we get some more derp?

What about TCU, their 1 loss was a lot better than OSU. I still think TCU is the best overall team in the country and nothing I have seen tonight has caused me to change my mind.

Whose being critical of Tech? I responded to a comment about "pushing the envelope" in regards to our own offense, and was call a stupid motherööööer. It's neither pedantic nor critical.
