College football is fundamentally broken. The trophy goes to the highest bidder. Boring. For us the value will be in playing similar minded schools who value the education, college traditions, etc. The factories are going to essentially become minor league NFL teams where players will be making near NFL $$$ and not really being a STUDENT athlete.
it is my opinion that once a division is made between college athletics and whatever the factories are morphing into, we will wind up with a semi pro league that has teams who happen to be located near college campuses, and then an actual college football league that hopefully resembles the sport we knew 20 years ago. I truly hope we are in the latter league. NFL minor league has zero appeal to me
