This year's UGA game has the potential to be historically bad.

What does "historically bad" even mean when 59-3 or whatever isn't even notable anymore

We're relying on UGA's charity to not make a mockery of our football team. Take it or leave it; that's reality.

Hopefully they rest their starters at half time since they'll probably have bigger fish to fry the next weekend. So it should not be 51-7 bad, I hope...

Or cognitive dissonance. If I don't watch or listen to the game did it even exist?

Geoff Collins knows that a win here will save his job; every week he has been making the Jackets practice to beat Georgia. This has been the one and only goal in practice, and I have a friend who has insider knowledge on this. True story. This past week, they didn't even watch a single minute of Va Tech film. They have been reviewing UGA plays every single week, scheming and planning with one goal--embarrassing Kirby and the dawgs.

Mark it on your calendar folks. We will beat UGA. We may not win another game, however. It will happen though. Real talk.

I certainly hope this is totally false. If Collins is ignoring film study of an ACC opponent to prepare for Georgia, then should he lose to Georgia he should be fired. No, on second thought, if he is not preparing for each opponent, he should be fired immediately. Whoever started this tale must really hate Collins, because it makes it sound as though he is the most irresponsible coach in history.

for the record, this is just some stupid stuff that I came up with. if such a tale were true, however, I would feel better about us sucking so bad. At least there would be an explanation besides "we suck."

I have no faith in our defense to even begin to slow their offense. And considering how atrocious our OL is, their defense will be living in our backfield. We’ll be lucky if we break 200 yards of offense.
I’m a bit bit worried about Sims in this game. Kid has heart and will fight to make and extend plays. Last thing we need is an ugly loss and an injured Sims.

I’ll be honest, I thought it would’ve been great to see improvement from playing UGA from two years ago to now. Those times are now long gone.

Apparently a guy most would give a left stone to have suiting up in white and gold. The regents really hate Tech.
We just need to offer some other easy BS degrees too while we're at it. Bring back STAC or something similar that doesn't require calc. Although I'm curious what mechanical engineering classes at UGA looks like. I didn't think their math department went past calc1

We lost 45-0 to VT a few years ago. We were a 4th down conversion away from maybe taking the lead yesterday. I didn't like the call, BTW. Not sure why Gibbs wasn't in. Would have liked to see Gibbs or an RPO in that scenario.

Our defense played well in the third. Regressed in the 4th.
