People need to relax a bit we'll be fine we are a run first team anyways so having one guy leave will not be the death blow.

Oklahoma lost starting QB Gabriel to Oregon, Ole Miss starting RB Quinshon Judkins went to tOSU, Alabama S Caleb Downs to tOSU, etc.

Every team is losing starters in the Portal era.

While the portal seems to be a net benefit for our team, it sucks from a fan perspective. Gone is the day where most players are as loyal to Tech as we all are. Don’t get me wrong because I appreciate the transfers who chose us, but I miss the days of finding that star and knowing that he’s going to be on your team until the end. It’s just a game of mercenaries now.

Something needs to be done to incentivize team loyalty

Maybe multi-year deals will become more prevalent since one-year deals aren't as great a value for universities

They are multi-year in other pro sports for a reason
