This is who we need to go after to fill Singleton's spot.
Singleton has 10.3 100m speed, and that's clocked at an ACC track meet. Nobody on the team is that fast. Also, Penson is the most likely DB to play both ways.
Fortunatley for Auburn, Peyton Thorne is a senior and won't be back next season. It's looking like their going to bring in Stanford's QB in a transfer to be the starter next year.Eric should do himself a favor and watch some Auburn tape. Their qb looks like a guy who would be second or third team on a MAC team. Unless it's simply all about the $$$ in which case film review is of no value.

Which wouldn't happen when Philo takes over,Two counter points.
1. Most of our deep throws have shown a tendency to come up short (King, Philo, and Pyron)
2. Very few of our long passes have been due to our WR getting separation based on speed. The difference between 10.3 and 11 is maybe half a step in 40 yards.
Eric’s real value has been on our sweeps. If he leaves Tech, he needs to pick his offense carefully to avoid getting relegated to a slot receiver role where he gets few touches.
I agree with you but I am worried that Singleton helps open up Rutherford.Remember, Haynes King made Singleton look good. When a DB is worried worried the QB is a runner, it opens up for the WR when the DB keeps eyes in the background
See above where I pointed out that that's a fake account - "gatorstroll"So Auburn hosts Singleton while losing a really good freshman WR. Just bizarre

This thread feels like it just needs an "It's never as good or as bad as it seems"

Philo’s throws came up short this year too. Probably adjusting to a faster throwing motion.Which wouldn't happen when Philo takes over,
