Transfer Portal Tracker

was waiting in my car and disconnected my CarPlay. Chuck and Chernoff was on and I usually switch it off quickly bc it’s usually mutt felating. They were talking about Tech and the portal. Specifically Singleton. They said ES is asking for $800K and GT is paying him $300K. Then in their typical condescending tone about GT, “well, Georgia Tech is basically going to be college football’s buffet every year. They’re about to have an exodus of players to bigger progrums that will just outplay them for the players. And Tech has nothing to offer these kids. Because even if Tech matches them financially, they’re still not Auburn or georgia or Florida, a football power”. Then the other cuck says, “well Tech will say their education….but none of these kids care about that”. Then they go on talking about how great Key has done but he’ll never take the next step bc kids will just keep leaving, Tech can’t afford to pay to play, and Tech has nothing to offer.

God damnit we needed to win in Athens to shut this narrative down.

But hey, their our "flagship station."

Dear lawd, that’s still a show in ATL? All I remember before leaving the ATL metro and Georgia, was Chuck spouting off about how GT can’t beat Auburn, sec speed, size, etc. I think Roman Reigns made sure to remind the Auburn QB that night (name I’m forgetting) about how incorrect that is.

And for any Auburn fan or alum to start talking trash about any other program is comical at this point. They are on the 3rd failure of an HC (to date) within 5 years (Malzahn, Harsin, Freeze). Can Freeze turn it around? Maybe. But they are nothing more than a “has been” program maxing out at 7-8 wins a year.

When was the last time Florida or Auburn could be considered a "football power"?

Worst show on 680 The Fan, by far. Buck Belue is better than those two. They
boosted up Auburn who hasn't won over 6 games the past 4 seasons, and three of those were losing seasons. Chuck is in denial. And Matt Chernoff, no doubt Kirby can tell you you whether or not he has tonsils. I generally listen from 6am until those two idiots go in air.

The Locker Room and Cellini and Dimino usually give unbiased information.

The Auburn QB was Brandon Cox.

Auburn hasn’t been relevant for a minute. UF hasn’t been relevant for four years ever since one of the UF defenders threw an LSU player’s cleat after it came off. I’m friends with a couple UF fans and they both agree that they’ve been cursed since that moment.

Relevant is a long way from football power.

From reports Singleton did the same thing after last season and we met his demands and he stayed.

I wonder if this year if...

1. We couldn't meet them from a financial standpoint
2. We drew a line in the sand and decided not to be held hostage year after year
3. We decided we could do just as well without him and use his NIL for another receiver from the portal
I vote 5. 2+3.

I agree, no one on the team currently. Tae Harris runs a 10.6 100m and clocked a 4.38 40
.3 of a second over a 100m of straight line speed is about a step on the track. It ain't much on football field. A guys 40 time is a much better gauge in football imo. It's all about separation and recovery speed.

I thought they were a Inside Hollywood knockoff. They talk about sports? The self proclaimed 'King' and his sidekick... Bill Paxtons crybaby character in Aliens

The closest guy is .2 away. The last two guys are basically .3 seconds away. Separation on a football field of this distance would be like he isn’t even covered. .3 seconds is a lot in 100m.
I do agree with 40 speed matters. However once past 20 yards of running, 100m speed is king and deep balls this speed kills.

One of many forgettable Auburn QBs over the last 20 years.
Other than Cam (“best 80k auburn ever spent” says my good friend and auburn alum) and Nick Marshall, their QBs and their seasons have been a buffet of mediocre
