USC and UCLA to Big Ten

It would be more enjoyable to end this big east disaster by removing BC,Syr,Pitt,Louisville and then adding
UCF,USF,Tulane,Liberty,Ga Southern and Coastal Carolina to get to 16. Warm weather road trips to Bourbon Street,Myrtle Beach, sunny Fla beaches while we wait for the CFP to expand when the conference would have an automatic berth.
Yes. Let’s pursue irrelevance.

People act as if college athletes just started getting paid when NIL started. They just don't need to hide it anymore. Top players have always received "perks". NIL is good for the little guy.
I'd say it helps other big guys more than it helps the little guys. TA&M is a big guy who wasn't as good at the "perks" as the SEC schools. Now they can throw their weight around as we're seeing. The little guys are still going to struggle to keep up. There will be some who rise though. JSU is a possible example if they can keep rising and not get poached.

Should the ACC proactively go to 18? Maybe add Oklahoma State, Baylor, Oregon, and Washington… That’s a decent national conference there. Try to be the 3rd super conference.
That seems like it would be a good move to give yourself a seat at the table with the Big and Sec. The ACC seems slow to react though so I wouldn't expect it to happen.

JSU? Wut? Is this bizarro world?

For six years, I’ve been predicting college football will eventually undergo a massive consolidation of the top 32 or so programs doing their own thing. In light of yesterday’s bombshell, one source deep in the weeds on this stuff told me, “I think that’s inevitable now.”
I'd be amazed if Vandy doesn't get booted from the SEC

I don't see Poly and the rest of the Triangle schools letting UVA and UNC respectively go without their own landing spots
They won’t have a choice in the matter, very much like Oklahoma State had no say in OU bouncing to the SEC.

UNC, Duke, NCSt, WF, GT, UVA, VPI, L’ville, Pitt, BC will pick from the likes of UCF, USF, Tulane, Cincinnati, Houston, Oklahoma St, Baylor, West Virginia, and TCU to add six teams for a 16-team ACC.

Prophecy says that in the last days of college football, the Metro Conference will rise from the ashes and bring the ultimate destruction of amateur sports.

 Not only that, we were one of the top teams in the SEC, intentionally blew that up, and then erected a statue and named the stadium after the arrogant cuss that did it...because we're smart.
Another “Dodd was an idiot” post by you…unique!

The "little guy" in this idea though are the ones who had big wallets around but not enough name brand or clout to avoid/ignore the NCAA's regulatory eyes.

If that irritates you so much about being a Tech fan, you may want to find an SEC program to follow. You seem to think he is the source for all of Tech’s ills. Vanderbilt would be a great option, because that would be closest to where Tech football may have gone.
Bullshit. Tech would have a 70,000 seat stadium and max out at 7-8 win seasons. We may have never won anything but wouldn’t be vandy
